Sime Darby Plantation
is the world's largest producer of sustainable palm oil, with 82% of its production
certified sustainable, and is one of the world’s largest listed palm
oil companies, producing about 2.47 million tonnes or 5% of the world’s crude

The Division grows oil palms in its estates, harvests and processes fresh fruit

Sime Darby Plantation's total landbank currently stands at around 858,879 hectares
in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Liberia, of which 525,325 hectares is planted with oil
palm and 7,811 with rubber.

Sime Darby Plantation’s upstream operations include the development of oil

planter, the highest yielding estates produce 32.1MT of FFB per mature hectare.
As an experienced player in the plantation industry, Sime Darby Plantation employs

for sustainable practices such as the Zero Burning Replanting Technique. Over and
above our RSPO certification program, the Division has also planted 329,225 rare

resistance and drought tolerance, and use these markers to breed a new generation
of oil palms.

handling mostly coal/ coke, bulk and general cargoes along the Grand Canal in Jining.
Current capacity of the ports reaches approximately 35 million metric tonnes per
annum with plans to expand further to a targeted total designed handling capacity
of over 65 million metric tonnes annually within the next 5 years to become a major
player in the ports and logistics arena in Shandong Province.
Water Management –The water management unit is represented
by Weifang Sime Darby Water Management Co. Ltd. (Weifang Water) in the province
of Shandong, China. Incorporated in 2005, Weifang Water has a total capacity of
140,000 m3 per day and is the sole supplier of treated water in Binhai Economic-Technological
Development Area (BEDA), a special economic development zone located in Weifang.
