Sime Darby Undergraduate Scholarship Programme (Overseas) - Singapore
Minimum Requirements
- Singapore nationality
- Good A-Level results (with minimum 10 academic units)
- International Baccalaureate
- Poly Diploma (with merit)
- Individuals pursuing their first or second year undergraduate studies in Singapore and have intention to study overseas may apply AND must have latest cumulative CAP/ GPA of at least 4.0
- Proficiency in English is a MUST
- Strong leadership qualities
- Active participation in co-curricular activities and sporting events
- Candidates with at least a conditional offer from overseas universities as specified by Sime Darby will be given FIRST priority. Scholarship will only be effective upon receiving firm offer.
Service Bond Period
- On completion of their studies, scholars will be required to serve the Sime Darby Group of Companies for 4 to 6 years, depending on the duration and value of the award
Fields of Study Scholarship will be offered to individual pursuing the following fields of study:
- Business: Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration
- Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical

Value of Scholarship (Overseas) The sponsorship covers the following:
- Full tuition and academic fees
- Living Allowance
- Books allowance
- Computer allowance (one-off)
- Settling-in allowance (one-off)
- Clothing allowance (one-off)
- Student visa and passport
- Shipping allowance (one-off at the end of course)
- Flight ticket (at the beginning and end of course)
- Insurance coverage (if applicable)
Recipients of scholarship will have the opportunity to undergo Scholars Development Programme and experience work exposure through internship within the Sime Darby Group of Companies.
