At Sime Darby, the safety, health and well-being of our employees are our priority. Our annual Global Employee Engagement Survey (GEES) allows us to understand our people better and gain valuable input on things that matter most to them. We also support a healthy lifestyle and organise annual Group–wide competitions and team activities for our employees.

We understand that the well-being of our employees’ families is also a key motivating factor for them, and we strive to create an organisation that is family friendly. In Malaysia, we are one of the few employers with our very own child care centre, and through the Sime Darby Foundation, we offer the children of our employees the opportunity to gain the quality education and learning experiences that they deserve.

The Sime Darby Volunteer Programme (SDVP) allows our employees to play a role in building a better world for our future generation. SDVP projects include environmental conservation initiatives, community and educational projects, as well as sports-oriented activities.
