Managing Director, Logistics Division

Mr Timothy Lee Chi Tim, Male, 55, a Chinese (HKSAR) and Canadian, was appointed the Executive Vice President – Energy & Utilities (“E&U”) Division (China) on 15 December 2011 and designated as the Managing Director, E&U Division China Operations in September 2015. Following the integration of the Industrial Division with E&U Division Non-China Operations on 1 July 2016, Mr Timothy Lee was designated as the Managing Director, Logistics Division. 

In this role, Mr Timothy Lee manages the Ports & Logistics and Water Management business units located in Weifang and Jining within the Shandong province in the People’s Republic of China.

Mr Timothy Lee has over 20 years of operational experience in the ports and container terminal management industry in Hong Kong, one of the world’s busiest ports. Prior to joining the Sime Darby Group, he held the position of Operations Manager – Hong Kong Business Unit for Modern Terminals Limited, the second largest port operator in Hong Kong. Mr Timothy Lee was formerly the Chairman of the Sea Cargo Customer Liaison Group in 2010, a committee organised by the Hong Kong Customs & Excise Department to gather industry expertise to improve port competitiveness.

Mr Timothy Lee holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Simon Fraser University of British Columbia, Canada.
