For six consecutive years, Auto Bavaria, a BMW, MINI and Motorrad dealer, has swept multiple awards not only in Malaysia, but also regionally.

Auto Bavaria Managing Director Jeffrey Gan, attributes the winning streak to a motivated team that strives for high performance with strong support from the management.

Equally important, says Gan, is the mutual respect for one another at all levels of the organisation, and opportunities aplenty for each and every Auto Bavaria employee.

“We know that the key to delivering excellent customer service experience and managing their expectations is by understanding the unique needs of our customers. This is where we have inculcated a Customer Service Environment and embedded the principles of AEE (“Accountability, Empathy, Efficiency”) in our work culture.

“Today, we are witnessing the fruits of our labour. There is stability and loyalty in the workforce and significant improvement in our customer relationship management,” said Gan who has helmed Auto Bavaria for the past three and a half years and has worked in Sime Darby Motors for more than nine.

Auto Bavaria has emerged the preferred BMW, MINI, and Motorrad dealer - winning the Best BMW Dealer award in the Diamond Category for 6 consecutive years.

Auto Bavaria ended 2016 on a high note as it was not only recognised locally, dominating 29 out of 50 awards during the annual event, but was also recognised globally with the Sungai Besi dealership winning the best BMW Dealer in Customer Care in the Asia Pacific and South Africa regions.

Gan added, “Even the most successful businesses face challenges in managing customers and competition. One of the key factors to our success is in strategic planning, staying ahead of the competition, and by closely monitoring industry developments. Any business can be blindsided by sudden changes in the marketplace, anytime, especially in the digital age. In Auto Bavaria, the strategy has been to constantly adapt to change in an ever changing landscape.

Established in 1988, Auto Bavaria, a Malaysian operating unit of Sime Darby Motors is the biggest retail and service organisation for BMW, MINI and Motorrad in Malaysia.
