SJMC, the flagship medical institution of Sime Darby. Healthcare and based in the Sime Darby township of Subang Jaya, is an internationally accredited tertiary care medical centre in Malaysia. The hospital which began operations in July 1985 has since expanded rapidly, both in terms of size and breath of medical services.

Over the past two decades, the award winning hospital has gained various accolades and ISO certifications. Its commitment towards healthcare has driven it to not only provide quality services but to also nurture future talent at its Nursing and Health Sciences Academy. Its centres of excellence continue in cutting edge medical research and its community programmes serve and touch the lives of many.

Today, the hospital attends to over approximately 1,500 outpatients a day at its Outpatient Centre that has 89 Specialist Suites. It provides 375 inpatient beds and fourteen operating theatres that are equipped to handle a multiplicity of surgical procedures ranging from open heart to minimally invasive surgeries.
