Group. It is a leading travel agent in Malaysia and has over 40 years' of industry
experience.
Manufacturing
Continental Sime Tyre Sdn Bhd manufactures and markets a wide range of tyres. It
is a joint-venture company between Continental AG of Germany and Sime Darby Berhad,
which has 49% interests in the business.
Continental Sime Tyre, a holding company, has two tyre manufacturing companies -
DMIB Berhad which is located at Petaling Jaya, and Sime Tyres International Sdn
Bhd in Alor Setar. Continental Sime Tyre Marketing Sdn Bhd serves as its sales and
marketing arm.
The company’s strength is best reflected in its multi-brands portfolio of Continental,
Dunlop, Barum, Sime Tyres and Simex. This portfolio covers a comprehensive range
of tyres for passenger cars, 4-wheel drive, truck, bus, motorcycle, forklift, earthmover,
agricultural, industrial and military vehicles.
Continental Sime Tyre also has the largest tyre dealer network totalling over 1,000
outlets within Malaysia.
