Programmes and Investments
  • Completed the global roll-out of the Sime Darby Performance Management System. The universal approach aims to ensure that individual key performance indicators are aligned to Divisional and Group strategies, and provide a more structured approach to managing poor performance through the Performance Improvement Programme (PIP).
  • Continued to strengthen succession planning by identifying potential successors into all critical positions and closing the readiness gap through the implementation of suitable intervention plans across the Group.
  • Talent Development and Learning Programmes have been tailored to focus on the preparation of future leaders as well as to ensure high performers and high potentials are retained and engaged.
  • Expanded the mandatory Core Executive Programme to Indonesia and China to enhance employee leadership skills.
  • Organised Customer Services Excellence Programmes for more than 400 participants with the aim of inspiring business performance and service levels.
