Encik Mohamad Idros Mosin, 50, a Malaysian, is a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Sime Darby Berhad. He was appointed to the Board on 15 November 2018.
Encik Mohamad Idros was the Group Head, Strategic Investments of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) with key role focusing on the formulation and implementation of initiatives on value creation plan involving Public Listed Strategic and Core Investee Companies of PNB prior to his current role as the Group Head, Real Estate of PNB.
Since joining PNB, Encik Mohamad Idros has been involved in various assignments including development/evaluation of value enhancement strategies for strategic investment in Automotive, Chemical, Infrastructure, Logistics, Oil & Gas, Plantation, Property, and Pharmaceutical sectors. Encik Mohamad Idros is a representative of PNB on the Boards of MIDF Property Berhad, ValueCap Sdn Berhad, SJM Flex (M) Sdn Berhad, Benua Sakti Sdn Bhd and several other private limited companies under the PNB Group.
Encik Mohamad Idros holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration (Hons) from International Islamic University Malaysia, an Executive Diploma in Investment Analysis from Universiti Teknologi MARA and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute Australasia. He underwent the PNB-IMD Leadership Development Programme under the International Institute for Management Development and the Malaysia-China Economics Programme under the Tsinghua University School of Economic and Management. Encik Mohamad Idros attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School in Boston.
